CostGrid and Tally: project cost control meets accounting
Tally is widely evaluated as business accounting software. CostGrid has a narrower construction-project job: connect budget, commitments, site evidence, bills, approval, payment records and forecast without claiming to replace the statutory ledger. This release does not include a certified live Tally connector.

Where CostGrid is deliberately focused
- You need committed-cost visibility before invoices arrive
- Bills, retention and approval evidence drive the current workflow; measurement certification is planned
- Project leaders need current project-level EAC visibility and can treat attributable forecast editing as a roadmap gate
Questions to test in both products
- 01Which approved CostGrid records should enter accounting?
- 02Which stable IDs and cost dimensions must survive export?
- 03Who certifies posting and bank reconciliation in Tally?
CostGrid does not assert that another product lacks a capability. Product scope, prices and terms change; use the linked official source and a current vendor demonstration for your decision.
