Integrations

Connect systems without blurring responsibility

CostGrid controls the construction project-cost trail. Accounting, banking and provider systems retain their own authoritative scope.

Current-release boundary

Current CSV setup, vendor-data and export workflows can be used with Excel; the cost-code paste/import is basic, and native XLSX import is not included. Tally, Zoho Books, custom connectors and production API/webhook delivery remain implementation-and-certification work.

Available workflow

CSV files usable with Excel

Use the current cost-code and vendor CSV workflows, and export controlled records with stable identifiers. Cost-code paste/import does not yet validate quoted fields or hierarchy.

Design pattern

Accounting hand-off

Use validated files to hand reviewed project-cost records to an accounting system. No live Tally or Zoho Books connector is certified in this release; statutory posting and reconciliation remain in that system.

Certification required

API and signed webhooks

Scoped keys, idempotency and signed event delivery form the checked-in foundation. No production endpoint or webhook delivery should be represented as live until its environment passes runtime certification.

Governed rollout

Custom connectors

Connect through documented contracts and explicit permissions—never shared private tables or embedded service credentials.

Developer boundary

Bring one controlled project into the workflow first

Start with one live project, keep the control trail intact, and expand only after the workflow proves useful.
