User Engagement Rules
The acceptable-use rules for CostGrid accounts, project records and evidence.
Draft — not yet effective · Version 0.1.0
Draft for legal review. Enforcement language must be aligned with the final Terms before publication.
Financial and commercial integrity
Do not use CostGrid for fraud, bribery, collusion or unlawful transactions. Do not falsify budgets, BOQs, estimates, quotations, contracts, work orders, site progress, quantities, completion evidence, invoices, claims, variations, approvals, forecasts, payment records or reconciliations.
Controls and identities
Do not bypass maker-checker, approval or segregation-of-duties controls; impersonate users, contractors, consultants, vendors or organisations; elevate your own access; or circumvent organisation, project, plan, usage or security restrictions.
Systems and automation
Do not access, scan, probe, disrupt or interfere with systems or data without written authorisation. Do not upload malware or malicious documents, abuse automation, create excessive load, manipulate storage paths, replay privileged requests or attempt to suppress immutable audit evidence.
Content and privacy
Upload only material you have the right to use. Do not process personal, confidential, regulated or third-party data unlawfully, or use exports to evade an organisation's controls.
No false certification
Do not represent CostGrid reports, scores, reconciliations, passports or closeout packs as independent accounting, tax, legal, engineering, regulatory or audit certification.
CostGrid supports construction cost planning, control, evidence management, reconciliation and reporting. It does not independently certify accounting, tax, legal, regulatory, engineering or audit compliance; validate contractor or supplier claims; guarantee project cost, savings, profitability or completion outcomes; or replace authorised professional judgment.
Proportionate enforcement
Depending on severity and recurrence, CostGrid may issue a warning, temporarily restrict an action, suspend access or terminate an account or organisation relationship under the final Terms. Relevant evidence may be preserved and lawful authorities may be assisted where required. Ordinary users cannot erase security or audit evidence.
