Zoho Books workflow

Plan a safe CostGrid and Zoho Books hand-off

Use CostGrid for budget-to-payment project controls and Zoho Books for the accounting scope your organisation configures. The current release documents the boundary; a live connector is not certified.

Where control breaks

Recognise the warning signs

  • Cost codes do not map cleanly
  • Draft project records reach accounts
  • Connector failures are invisible

The CostGrid control path

01

Approved source state

Export only records that have reached the required governed state.

02

Idempotency requirement

Any future connector must use stable external IDs so retries cannot create duplicate accounting records.

03

Visible failures

A future connector must record delivery status and reconciliation references instead of silently dropping updates.

Operational outcome

The proposed integration boundary can be certified without coupling the systems through shared private tables.

Control one live project before expanding

Start with one live project, keep the control trail intact, and expand only after the workflow proves useful.
